More MMHS Volleyball
This year has been fun because both of the
girls made the High School team.
Kylee played Sophmore outside hitter.
Samantha played both JV and Varsity
outside hitter. Games would start at 4pm with
JV playing at 5:00 and Varsity at 6:30.
Pretty much the games would go until
9:00 or 9:30. It would make for a long
night. We would usually buy Subway and bring
drink and snacks and the girls would eat
when they could in between their playing,
keeping score and linesmen. They have
had an okay season but it has been fun watching
both of the girls.

Can't remember the first gal--but Matson Sophmore coach,
Hall Varsity coach and Mike. He
is the starting setter for the UVU men's volleyball
team. He cam in about half way through the year
and has been wonder. He has been a great help
and encouragement to Samantha.

Joyous Parents

we traveled to the Manti Temple where Bailee and her
parents took at their endowments during a live session.
We had been to a live session before but it was many years
ago. Then right after her parents and Bailee and her three
younger sisters were sealed. When they entered the sealing
room the young girls were all bawling. I think that had
waited years for this night. It was very heartwarming
watching them embrace each other. The spirit was sooooo
strong. It was strange her them call my Bailee---
Bailee Lovell for a short time. I am so use to
Bailee Porter.
Then on Saturday September 11th at 11:40 Seth and Bailee
where sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. People who were
there: Bailee's grandparents, her family, Trent's sister and
husband, Deon and husband (from Bailee's work), Lianna Taylor,
Jamie Harmon, Jennifer and Mark Lomenick, Marianna Robins,
Stacy Johnson, Uncle Bryan, Uncle Jared, Aunt Lori,
Daniel Synider and grandma and grandpa Mitchell.
It was about 80 degrees outside with clear skies.
It was a beautiful day filled with love and service.
Pictures where taken, and taken, and taken.
Later in the afternoon we ate dinner at
Tucanos. This is the first place Matt and I
double dated with Seth and Bailee so we felt it appropriate.
As Sister Beck stated the next day in our stake conference
"We fought valiantly for the opportunity to have trials"
and after trials come many blessings!

FATHER's DAY
Today in church the High Counselor that spoke told a story
in the beginning about how mothers of brides are
always crying because their daughter's
usually marry men just like their fathers.
You can interpret this in two ways. They
are crying out of joy-----or out of sympathy!
I did marry someone alot like my father. A
man who takes care of me and honors his priesthood
and who greatly loves the Lord. Love ya Matt!
My dad was at every one of his grandchildren'sbaptisms because that was what was
important to him. He was not retired at this
time in his life. He had to take vacation time or make a really
quick trip over just a few days--but he always did it.
I loved that about him!
Did his grandchildren know that he loved them--
YES!
This I think is one of my favorite pictures of him---doing what he loved the most!
My heart still swells when I see this picture to
remember the suffering he went through but
still pressed forward in faith that their was something
better on the other side.
Today the tears come easy.
I have a husband who loves me because
of a father who trained me up well.
I try and live my life so that I will be able
to embrace my father again one day on the other side.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Only One Way Down!
only way down sooo I was told which scared me.
Luckily I was able to careful walk around the
small edge and be helped (or thrown) down
a steep cliff. This is Kylee making her
way down. I think this is the highlight for all of
the kids. They loved it as well as the leaders
I should say.
Youth Conference (Capital Reef)
the girls found this sign "Pick Up Chicks Here"
and just had to take a picture.
