Bailee went in to be monitored January 18, 2011 and they decided that
it was time to take the babies at 35 weeks.
Daxson, 4 lbs. 1 oz. 17 inches was born a minute earlier
than Averlyn 3 lbs. 11 oz 15 1/2 inches. Little Avie was taken to
Utah Valley Regional Medical to be placed on a ventilator.
Daxson and mama Bailee stayed at American Fork Hospital.
Avie is now off of the ventilator and doing well---does not even need
oxygen. Daxson only needed oxygen at the very beginning.
Daxson is feeding like a pro and little Avie is trying to get the hang of
it. Bailee had to have a c-section but is doing great. She is a wonderful
mother and wife. My heartaches to hear the worry and stress in my
son's voice. What a blessing it has been through all of this to have
such wonderful family support. Tender mercies have been seen all around!
